North Scituate Advent Christian
Church is a Bible centered evangelical
church providing weekly worship services; teen ministry, children’s ministry
and home Bible studies. We also provide the Alpha Course, a 13 week introduction

Friends of the Scituate Animal Shelter

No formal meeting schedule. Our purpose is to improve the
quality of life for animals sheltered at the Scituate Dog Pound.
Volunteers assist with care and socialization of the animals, provide medical
care and raise funds for emergency care as well as vaccinations, spay/neuter and
testing for heartworm, Lyme disease, feline AIDS, and leukemia.

Gentian Garden Club, Inc.
was organized in March 1935. The objectives of the Club are to develop a
working knowledge of all phases of gardening, to preserve and protect the
environment, to encourage civic planting and to develop the art of flower
arranging.
Membership is open to
adult residents of Scituate and adjoining towns. Meetings are held on the 3rd
Tuesday of the month at the North Scituate Community House at 7:00 pm, except
during summer recess of July and August. In December and February, meetings are
the 1st Tuesday and 2nd Tuesday of the month, respectively.
Members must attend a
minimum of 5 meetings per year. Dues are $20.00 . Interested persons may
